Questions about the 1405/640m

1. What is exacly the truelife screen upgrade, what/who it's for and does it worth it?

2. Why no one is buying the 1405 and everyone is buying the 1505? The only difference is the screen size and the optional deticated graphics (correct me if i'm wrong). What's the reason? These days the smaller the more expensive so why not taking a smaller computer at the same price? If there is something wrong with it or a good reason for buying the 15 i would like to know it before i buy my 14.

3. What is it exacly with the bloatware coming with my dell? what can i format in my hard drive? format it all? what partitions i shouldn't format and so on.

4. I want to get 1GB now and when i want to install vista let's say in a half a year or when it comes out officialy i want to add another 1GB to have 2 GBs, but the only choice is1GB in two chips.. so i won't be able to just add 1GB, i would have to dump them off and buy 2 new chips

That's it for now, maybe i'll update it later with more questions.

1. TrueLife = glossy, more or less. It's for anyone who wants a screen that will supposedly output better colors.

2. I'd like to see a good answer to this as well.

3. It's a bunch of junk you don't need. You can format and wipe pretty much everything. See SouthernGirl's guide on NotebookReview.com.

4. That sucks.
