does this driver disables any features on the E1505 ? or will it work just like the driver from the Dell site ?

It denied my 1505 as well.

Also, I couldn't get the mobile file to work right, so will try the full blown driver for XP. The DHZero and Omega drivers work fine, and they don't seem to be made special for the "mobility".

Install the driver manually...it works just fine.

FWIW: This driver is backwards compatible for X1400/X1300 Radeon 9600/9700 ect...

has anyone compared the performance of the omegas to dhzero and the new catalyst drivers?

I just downloaded the new drivers from ati and installed them no problem here is the website:

PS: They work great in my system.

ATI catalyst 6.6 is faster than the 6.5 DHZero drivers in 3DMark05 anyway. 2130 with DHZero and 2159 with Catalyst 6.6, all else being the same.

They also seem to be a bit more vibrant, if that is the right word.

Not the download or the installation .... its when i tried to play Americas Army graph was all distortion so whent back to old driver, clearly not for dell notebooks im going to whait on dell for this.

Yeah. I think there are still some problems. I cannot change the Gamer, Brightness and Contrast in color tab in CCC.

I had not problems upgrading it. Damn! GRAW still lags!
