Can someone post pictures of how the resolution looks? For example, goto yahoo.com and take a picture, then take a picture with the start menu...

Actual pictures, not screenshots.

Thanks

For example, the Tivo Desktop icon is actually about 1/16" larger on my Samsun 930B desktop LCD than on the S96J screen. I'll add Yahoo for you in a bit....but my review has a shot of the screen from further away showing NBF next to a VX924.

Thanks but I didn't mean that close (could of just been a screenshot).. what I want is to get an actual perspective... maybe that is not possible without an extremely high quality picture (from like a 5mp camera).

I have a 4mp, should do fine. I'll try it this weekend. Hopefully tonight if I can find my batteries

When you say perspective, I'm thinking you want to see how the resolution looks. Can you explain what you want to see? If you're looking to assess the clarity and brightness of the screen, then that's going to be impossible to capture.

I used a 6MP DSLR camera to take that pic, so it's not a question of megapixels....it's just, as I discovered last night, that it's really tough to take a picture of a computer screen.

Try and take some pics of liek the monitor and some of the keybaord, I think your just focusing on the screen alittle too much. (I know he wanted screen pics) but if you took a picture of the laptop+screen I think it would come out alot better.

I realize that, CRT = impossible to take a picture of, LCD = possible but still blurry and not the true quality of the screen...

But that's not what I'm concerned about, when I say perspective, I mean how stuff looks from about ~3 feet away.

Check these out.

I had some problems with glare and the lighting in the room was terrible and it was only a 3 megapixel camera... so they don't really do it justice but they're still nice

I'll see if I can post some from WoW at home. I'm at work and can't get connected from here.

Thanks... exactly what I wanted.

Hmm, resolution seems alittle too low for 15.4" for my taste, maybe I will wait for/get Z96j.

It's perfect for me, but then I haven't worked with really high res in the past... being a webmaster I usually keep my screen to the res of the sites I'm building

Well for one it was very well packaged. There came a box, then a box inside a box, the another multiple size box thingys. There came the S96J, driver, and manual CD's. Nero OEM Suite, Win XP Home disk, and some other disk with multimedia stuff. Aswell as the box for the core duo, and RAM, even though it was already installed.

I checked and everything I ask for was already installed, first thing I did though was update to omega drivers. IM still trying to figure our NHC and ATI Tool for it, but from the first looks of it the X1600 is clocked at 450\\400.
