I have a 9750 with a nVidia Geforce Go 7800 GTX and I'm having a problem where I am getting a corrupted display where dots appear in seemingly random positions in a window and then when the window moved, they form thin strands. The dots also seem to flicker slightly and/or vanish and then return. I seem to get red dots on black backgrounds (such as a command prompt) and blue/cyan dots appearing on white (such as a browser window).
I'm running at 1920x1200 and the problem only seems to occur at high resolutions such as this as I don't see it on the text screens such as the bootup screen.
I had the original nVidia drivers that were installed on the laptop when I received and upgraded to 91.31 to see if it was a driver issue but I still have the same problem with the new driver.
Does anyone know what could be the cause of this problem? Could it be a bad video card or video memory? The laptop is only a few weeks old and the problem has only started in the last day or so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
