I have heard that some people are having issues with the fan being too loud becuase it is sucking up alot of air. Is this a mass problem or is this isolated. Thankyou

mine is whisper quiet when it runs, I couldn't even tell it was running until I turned off my desktop lol (which in fairness has 4+ fans lol)

The fan is on (but regulated and relatively quiet) when on AC. We're hoping for an answer form HP concerning this issue.

lol it would be cool to run it without the fan on I suppose....I guess when you are used to a loud machine you don't notice things

i wouldn't consider it anywhere approaching noisy though (I hear the T43 is quite bad in that regard)

hopefully HP will issue a fix for those who are unhappy though...to be honest however even my central air conditioning is louder
