is thier a such thing as a internal tv tuner for laptops? i know they have them for computers. i was wondering a while back how to play a PS2 on a laptop and found out you needed a tv tuner to do it so it has the av outlets. now thier a internal tv tuner, capture card or capture device that you can buy and put into a laptop so you do not have to carry a tv tunner around when you want to play PS2 games. if thier is one i would like a link to a place that sells them. can someone help me? thanks!

ok i just went to thier website and the tv tunner must not have the av outlets (the red, yellow and white ports on a tv tunner, vcr or tv where you plug your ps2 or what ever systerm into) i need a tv tunner or some sort of capture device so it has the av outlets that can be put in a laptop so i do not have to carry a capture device or tv tunenr around just to play my PS2 on a laptop.

There are PCMCIA tuner cards. videohelp.com has a pretty good list of what's available.

what you are looking for is a capture card, you can use a TV tuner, but you will need an RF adapter for your ps2(you can buy one for like 20 bucks at gamestop) i think an RF adapter with a tuner will work, if not, you can just buy a capture card, those will work because they have the AV ports, but im not sure how you will display it onscreen........ and you cannot just buy partss and put them in other computers unless its pcmia or expresscard or sumtin

I really shouldn't do this, because I figure your above comment was rude and you can really look for yourself... but I'm feeling nice today: http://www.videohelp.com/capturecard...d=483#comments There's an overview of one with analog inputs. Click on the more information link in the bottom right of the post to go to the card's website. http://www.videohelp.com/capturecards <-- use this to search, you can just mark PCMCIA and search, they have about 17 cards listed. If your lappy has PCI-Express, you can search for that as well. By the way, all I had to do to find that was click on the "Capture Cards" link from the left side menu. Wasn't that hard to find. Cheers.
