Lenovo vs Sony

I'm in a real bind and I need all the help I can get! I'm stuck on making a decision between getting the Sony Vaio SZ230 P/B or on getting the Lenovo Thinkpad T60. I've compared both systems and internally they're about the same but looks and reputations seem to be the factor. Please I need help in making a decision I'm goning to be a freshman in college next semester and I'm going into engineering I need the best notebook choice. Thanks.

This post is going around...T60-s are different machine; get one with the latest...SONY...get the best build, support, logic: IMHO, it's Thinkpad.

ha, you've posted this everywhere. Did you post all three of them at notebookreview also? If so, I won't go post the same things there as well...
