Yeah, i am still at phase 3 but... i know echeats got his one 6 days after order. But thats from uk, and mine is from uk aswell, but i am still in phase 3

Mini, Mini, Review

Wooooo!

I got it, opened it about 4 hours ago and my smile is only just starting to leave my face...prob one of the first orders ive placed with a computer company (laptops anyway, who would buy a pre-made desktop?)...and they actually got it all CORRECT, i was expecting something to be missing, but no, nothing, its all there perfect and correct...the backpack is AMAZING the quality on this thing is fan-fudging-tastic! Its one of my favourite bits!

Getting onto the actual laptop, its very very nice...the paintwork seems not to be as smooth on the lid as it is all over the rest of it...for some reason...but it doesnt really bother me...its sweet, Quake 3 arena demo was installed so i played about on that abit...i can see what people mean about ghosting...coming from a 19" 80hz CRT it is different- but not as bad as alot of people have made out (i got the 16.1"..)...i would say its perfect for a laptop...

Ive yet to install any more games, im transferring all me stuff over and TRYING to password protect the system, altho ive set a password and XP doesnt seem to take any notice...and it just logs me on without asking for a pass...which is weird...any ideas guys?

I took loadsa photos but they are so incredibly crud its not worth me posting em...ill use me mates decent cam tommorow and let you all have a gander- shes a beauty!

Another thing peeps: those alien eyes? Green = on? Blue = charging? Is that it? Cos thats all ive had so far? Its weird, cos im charging now and the eyes are off but the side light is flashing...and before i was charging and the eyes were on....im sure they were...maybe not...that might of just been while it was charging and it was on, now its charging and its off...

The remote things great, i cant see myself using it all the time but its def a nice thing to have...i did notice winXP being slightly slower to draw windows whilst the laptop was unplugged...as soon as i plugged it in windows was drawing new windows in a quarter of the time....

Thats my results so far...im gaming against a mates desktop tommorow, ill let you know how it goes- and use him camera :P

BTW- NO DEAD PIXELS...YET!! FINGERS BLOODY CROSSED!!!

Control panel ->User Accounts -> Change the way users log on or off (that might be the trick)

New member. Glad to be one. I was surprised to go from phase 3 on the Feb 16 to phase 12 today the 20th. WoW. I guess all of the negative posts I read previously were due to the holiday season no less. TJ
