Emachine M6810 excessive fan noise

Bought an Emachine from Tiger direct, didn't take the extend warranty (first mistake),

A few weeks ago, the power supply fans started to do an extraordinary amount of noise, I mean just about not possible to work with the laptop! So I search around and figured out how to remove the keyboard and got to see the 2 fans.

Of course, the one making all the noise is the one on the left, the very one that seems to be inbeded into the power supply...! Well, I try shooting some compressed air into it, didn't help at all! I need the thing to work and to be quiet enough to be brought into a classeroom!

If anyone can help me out wiht the issue I'd be really thankfull!
If no other option, where can I get another, relatively cheep but new, power supply?

First: Look at the fans. Are any of the blades cracked?

Second: If the blades are fine, it's probably a bearing failing. Take it to a shop someplace and see if you can get another fan.

u can, in worst case until the replacement can be found, peel the cover off enough to put in a drop of graphite (very very small drop - it goes a long way) - NO wd40

Thanks guys, I'll try this out before buying a new power supply.
My thinking is that a bearing is failing.
My concern was that the fan doing the noise seems to be inbeded into the power supply...
I'll try the graphite drop and see if it works meanwhile searching for a new fan

The two fans on my 6810 are part of a heat sink. You should be able to at least get on of these somewhere, ebay if you have to... or if you can find a parts machine.
