My CPU temps vary between low 30's C and up to mid 50's C with the fans running in normal operation in non air conditioned room around 75 F laying on my bed. I've Disassembled my E1505 and applied Arctic Silver to the CPU, GPU, and Chipset. I also removed the stickers on the Hynix Memory Modules to help with heat removal (yea yea... Warranty Shmoranty)
Not too sure that the temp readings are accurate though. If I manually put the fan on high, I can get the CPU temps to hover around 25C and only raising to 35 C under load on my lap in low 70 degree room.
My memory temp is what is high. I get high 40's C up to mid 50's C under load on my lap and peaks of low 60's C.
At night when it is cooler, my CPU temps will be low 20's C if I have the fan on high and have the bottom of the laptop exposed to air.
I've gotten CPU temp readings as low as 16C outside in 60 degree F weather with a slight breeze.
All my other temps usually are around 40 to 50 C under normal conditions, but I can get them down into the lower 30's C in 65 degree rooms doing normal web browsing and light duty content creation.
My HD never gets above 47C in the worst conditions I've been in so far.
Not sure if these temp readings are due to inaccurate readings, Arctic Silver on CPU, GPU, Chipset, or optimizations from dell (my E1505 is 4 days old). I didnt monitor my temps before I did the Arctic Silver thing so I really dont know what good it did.
Compared to My desktop Computer, the temperatures on my E1505 are fatal!! My desktop P4 3.2E runs at 4.5Ghz and the highest temperature it see's -40C (yup negative forty celcius) . I dont think a phase change system on my laptop is feasible though....

EDIT: One wierd thing is that my Memory temps rise about 4 degrees C when the fan kicks on and drops several degrees when the fan turns off.... I'm tryin to figure this one out. I could see the GPU core temp doing this because it is getting the CPU's warm air when the fan is on, but the memory temps shouldnt be effected. The rise and fall in temperature reading is very sudden and most likely is a glitch.
Edit: My CPU voltage stock is 0.95v on both cores when stepped down to 998Mhz under low usage and 1.26v @ 1.83Ghz under load according to CPU-Z. With Lavalys EVEREST, my CPU voltage idle is 1v @ 988 Mhz low usage and it rises to 1.4v under load at a clock of 1.83Ghz. Not sure which one is correct, but this just makes me even more skeptical about hardware monitor programs. Another thing is that EVEREST says my CPU is an Engineering Sample. I think its mistaking speedstepping ability as an unlocked CPU.
