My 3rd Dell laptop this year!

Thread Starter
Well as I have entered in other threads Ive had my problems with a 9400 and now my xps m1710. The 9400 was with integrated gpu, but worked flawlessly. This was bought in sweden and had the LG LCD(A beauty!).

The reason for getting the XPS M1710 was that I couldnt upgrade to a pci-e graphics card, and since they promised me that when I bought it, they gave me a full refund(even though Ive moved to Norway and the unit was 2 months old).

So I put in the extra cash and got the XPS M1710 with the 7900GS, 100gb HD, 2gb ram, 8x dvd, the front clear lcd cover++

This was 2 months ago. When I got the xps the screen was the matte and there was a problem with the firewire port. I had 2 techs here with a new motherboard and a new power supply, and they were gonna send me a new lcd aswell.

So I called them first the first day after gettting the unit and Ive spent about 200 euro on the xps support hotline(this cost about 0,4 euro a minute in Norway).

So FINALLY I got a system exchange and promises of a compensation in form of a xps backpack or similar, and today I got my tracking number for the EMEA order status page So waiting for my 3rd laptop this year!

Hopefully this will be flawless!

I hope so too.
A bummer to have your 3rd machine with probably still an alarming feel that it might go wrong.
I rather enjoy the experience of true bliss when I get an expensive machine like this, without the hassle.
Thank god this was the case with my XPS 2 machine, and still is.
I've got it more then a year now, and it still roxx!
