Can I see my brightness/volume WITHOUT quickset?

I got my 8600 1.4 yesterday, and finally got it loaded out. Complete wipe, XP Pro, Ad-Aware, Window Washer, FanGUI, SpeedswitchXP, and a host of other necessitys and tweaks like blackvipers stuff.

My question, speedswitch replaced Dell Quickset, but I liked being able to graphically see my volume and brightness...is there anyway to do that?

my friend has the software from his logitech keyboard, that software does the job for him.

Bump. Without logitech drivers, which I dont have...any workarounds to get my volume/brightness display to show when I hit my fn+quickkeys? I cant really use quickset because it'll cancel out my speedswitchxp setting.

Help =p
