Since you have had both the Sharp and Samsung Screens, which would you say is better?
Since I am going ot call these guys and request a new screen, should I specifically ask for a samsung? The Sharp Wuxga I have has NO dead pixels and I am really afraid that the replacement I get will either have a similar backlight issue or have dead pixels.
So I just got of the phone with Ricardo from Dell technical support and they are sending me a new lcd screen overnight. I asked him about the Samsungs but after talking to his supervisor, he told me that currently all the WUXGAs they have shipping with the Inspiron8600s are Sharps. Guess we wil see when it gets here on Monday. Hopefully the backlight issue is gone.
