does the Z70V Support UltraDMA-6?

i'm asking because of this article

http://neodon.blogspot.com/2006/07/l...ard-drive.html

my harddrive is currently on UltraDMA 5 (dev 0), and my CD Drive is UltraDMA 2 (dev1), so it seems like i might get a performance increase if i do this but i dont want to screw anything up

also i might have gotten dev0 and dev1 backwards, but i would assume harddrive would be 0

anyone know? if you're not sure follow the instructions and post what your current settings are (device manager > ide controlers > double click primary IDE and goto advanced settings)

AFAIK, only Maxtor desktop drives support UDMA6.

Besides, there has been no empirical evidence of any performance increase going from UDMA5 to UDMA6
