Hi!

Today I got the packing slip for my replacement system xpsm1710 and it says 1 Environmental 700-10009

whats that?

Most likely it is just a sheet informing you the box is recylable, or made from recyclable material.

I was wondering because they promised me a good will gift like a backpack or some memory sticks but they dont show on the packing slip.

Hmm Guess it might just come seperately or something then?

if you live in alberta, Canada then you pay an extra recycling fee on monitors and some computer equipment.

On the configuration page for XPS M1710 in Norway and UK it says:

If you live in the Peoples Repbulik of Kalifornia, then you are arequired to pay an enviromental impact fee (recycling fee) for any item that you purchase that has an LCD screen greater than 4". So, if you live in Kali, and you are getting a replacement it would show the enviromental fee on the invoice due to law. Probably the same for other countries. Most of the US states are adopting it slowly.
