Only problem I can imagine you having is not getting real sharp text on the screen. I game on my 57" DLP also 1080p and text smaller than about 14 or 16 point gets difficult. This is using a DVI cable. I think that the problem is due to not having a dual link output on the 1705, and I believe the m1710 is in the same boat. Good luck and post some pics.

I posted these shots of my projector and 92" screen in another thread a couple years ago. I don't really use it for gaming though. It's set up for movies and the viewing angle and seating isn't the best for gaming. Also, the contrast is not nearly as good as the notebook screen for dark games.

Most projector bulbs are good for about 2000 hours, that's about the point where the yellowing becomes obvious. . . though most bulbs I've dealt with just flat out burst around that point. Wouldn't be such a problem if it didn't cost $300 to replace the thing.

I have my consoles hooked up to my projector, but I usually just use the normal TV if I'm the only player so I've never bothered hooking up the PC. Anyway, there's nothing to prevent it, the picture should turn out fine as long as you sit an appropriate distance from the screen.

Depends on what you mean by good or bad. your score on FPS games might go down because you cant focus on the whole screen, some games will play just as well, but EVERY game willl look awsome
