Upgrade memory on a 6400

I've just bought my 6400 with only 1GB and I wan't to upgrade it to 2GB, what kind of stick do I have to buy? I mean.. do I have to buy a special brand? In newegg I have to choose stuff like CAS and type of memory (the only thing I know of Dell's memory is that it works at 533MHz).

Does anyone have any clue what features must the memory have (number of pins, brand, size, ECC, etc.)?

Thanks in advance!

You need 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM, either 533 or 667 MHz. Also non-ECC and unbuffered. Brand is your choice, I went with G.Skill at $35for 512 MB 533 MHz.

One more thing. After putting the new module, do I have to change something in the BIOS or is it supposed to work in dual channel automatically?

No changes. As a matter of fact, I don't think you can make any changes to memory settings in the BIOS, it's not very tweakable.
