Macbook Pro 17" - Accessory Reccommendations?

I've just purchased the Macbook Pro 17" for college and am now shopping for accessories to go with it. If you have any reccommendations of where or what kind of the following items to get, I would greatly appreciate it:

Lap pad or "perch" (something to put between me and the laptop when its on my lap)
A cooling device
A mouse - (after reading some reviews Im leaning towards the MX1000)

i had the old mx 700 which i recently replaced with a G7, both were excellent, especially for gaming. if there's a bluetooth equivalent of the G7 available at the mx1000 level, that would be the only other option to look into.

i second this. a good mouse can change a computers life! and a users.



if i just bought a new MBP, first accessory on my mind is: 3yr warranty and case. i just bought a macbook, and love the little guy..
