Have you had any troubles with the 91 series drivers? With the XG 91.31v2 I get some diagonal lines in BF2 and CSS at 1920x1200 and I have to alt-tab out to fix it. I got the same with the default dell drivers that came with the system as well so either I got a defective card or these drivers suck.

Just my opinion, but, those drivers suck. I had problems with Dell and the other 91 series drivers. I use the 84.56's and have been fine.

Hey T120ted, I'm overclocking with 650/700 speeds using the XTreme-G 9.1.3.1v2 drivers and they run fine for me, in fact they run the fastest in my benchmarks - admittedly only compared against the stock nVidia 84.63 forceware drivers! I have not yet done any benchmarks with the 84.56 drivers, but do you expect them to perform faster than the 9.1.3.1 drivers? I understand that you recommend these drivers for people with stability issues with their video cards when overclocking, but do you know if anybody has actually tested the performance difference between the two drivers? I guess that should be done by somebody that’s not having any problems with 9.1.3.1 drivers, so I guess I have just volunteered myself…
I'll post the results in the next few days for thise that are interested.

Although my benchmark results are OK, I still can't seem to crack the 4 digit mark - Firestarter, what's your secret
I created a fresh XP install (ghost) image I could restore at any time for the purposes of benchmarking, so I could test without other apps interfering to experiment with different gfx drivers.
As you can see from the following 3DMark2005 results, drivers made a big difference in scores (a 12% increase in performance my tests).
As you can see the tweaked XTreme-G drivers clearly outperformed the stock nVidia drivers (Best score of 9,938 - just shy of that ever elusive 10,000), and its also interesting to point out that even with 4xAA enabled, the XTreme-G drivers still performed better than nVidia's.

Here are the 3DMark05 Results, screenshots will follow:

Default settings, nVidia drivers: 8,596 3DMarks
T2600 (2.16GHZ) | 2GB DDR2 (667MHZ) | 100GB HDD 7200RPM | 17" WUXGA | 512MB GeForce 7900 Go GTX | nVidia 84.63 forceware | Clocked @ 500/600

Overclocked settings, nVidia Drivers: 9,114 3DMarks
T2600 (2.16GHZ) | 2GB DDR2 (667MHZ) | 100GB HDD 7200RPM | 17" WUXGA | 512MB GeForce 7900 Go GTX | nVidia 84.63 forceware | Clocked @ 650/700

*** Overclocked settings, XTreme-G drivers: 9,938 3DMarks
T2600 (2.16GHZ) | 2GB DDR2 (667MHZ) | 100GB HDD 7200RPM | 17" WUXGA | 512MB GeForce 7900 Go GTX | XTreme-G MobileForce 91.31-v2.40a | Clocked @ 650/700

Overclocked settings, XTreme-G drivers, 4xAA: 9,309 3DMarks
T2600 (2.16GHZ) | 2GB DDR2 (667MHZ) | 100GB HDD 7200RPM | 17" WUXGA | 512MB GeForce 7900 Go GTX | XTreme-G MobileForce 91.31-v2.40a | Clocked @ 650/700

Wait, your results show a difference between the XTream-G drivers and nVidia, I never had a difference at all.

Try breaking 10,000 with the 9x.xx or stock drivers

Then try the 84.56 set and you will see

Those deltas seem way too broad. I can understand a couple hundred points. Are you certain all other variables were IDENTICAL? Something seems off.

Hey Joker,

Here is my results for following spec:

T2500 (2.0 GHZ) | 2 GB DDR2 (667 MHZ) | 17" WUXGA (Samsung K3155) | 100 GB 7200 RPM | 512 MB 7900 Go GTX | | XTreme-G MobileForce 84.56-v2.40 | Clocks @ 650/700

3DMark05 default = 9679

3DMark05 4XAA = N/A mine is free version

3DMark06 default = 5728

CSS max setting 4XAA, 16XAF = 132.82 fps

I was gonna use 91.31, but I don't like the new control panel, and I always like 84.56 trouble free version.

The speed seems to be stable runs all the test and 3 to 4 hours of CSS and BF2. I don't have higher core ROM and I am lazy to do Nitbor...So, use this result as fair comparison as others running @650/700.
