9750 sound problems (static)

I herd somewhere that the problem is that sata is on..and needs to be turned off in bios but,I went to bios and didnt find anything of the sort.

I get static when say music or effects are playing and the hard drive is working or busy I guess you could say.Just start cracking and sometime quits altogether...plz any help is appretiated.

Oh and It just seemed to start all of a sudden ...cant think of anything I did to cause this

I have a DV9000 and it looks like we have the same problem! It also started suddenly on my end.
