Greetings - I received my new e1505 this past Tuesday. I rebuilt it the next day, as I usually do, to get a clean/non-"AOL" build. Two major problems though. First, Dell sent a driver CD for a 710m instead of an e1505. So I downloaded the drivers from Dell (at work - I have no internet connection at home). But, now the sound is awful - the volume won't change and there's crackling and a hum (on headphones). I downloaded the correct audio driver since I used my service tag to get the drivers list. I can't use the Sound Blaster audio CD since it requires product activation - and I can't get a personal system on the internet (I'm in Baghdad). Any recommendations or pointers would be appreciated - TIA!
