S96j warrancy?

I've read / heard on various places that the S96j isn't an official Asus model, but mostly from Intel. How does this go with warrancy? Is this still with Asus? And for example, do you still have the ASUS Zero Bright Dot warrency?
Because this would mainly mean that if something happens to my notebook, it will take very long before it get's repaired, and I really can't have that : /

Usually wherever you bought it from will provide repairs and generally it is quick depending on your reseller.

Most places have the standard one year warranty from the reseller but most have an option to extend it to three year. The intel limited warranty lasts for two years.

But, if the warranty goes with the reseller, and they need new parts, that will go through intel right? Because there's no Intel company here in the netherlands, so if something breaks, it would take a long time to repair and since the only place I can buy it is at an internet store, I'll also have to ship my laptop to them if something's wrong >.<;; Damnit!
