i'm looking for:

service manual for vgn-fs742

or

a way to remove its keyboard.

Also, is anyone know how i can get a cheap replacement keyboard?

To remove the keyboard you will need to remove the black speaker panel 1st(only the 2 fat screws in the battery bay hold it on). Underneath the speaker panel there are 4 screws that hold the keyboard on.

Sony sells the keyboards pretty cheap, about $30 shipped for a new replacement keyboard for that model.
