memory limitations on xps m170

Hi, all.

Can anyone tell me what the RAM limitations on an XPS m170 laptop is? Example, assuming I'm running Windows Vista, would my laptop be able to address a full 4 gigs of RAM, or does the 32 bit processor in that system limit how much RAM it can address?

2.73 GB because of the chipset, I am pretty sure.

may run into other issues to since i remember that the 1710 was the first to support 4 gig of ram. the 170 still supports 2gig i believe.
