Yeah, that thing is pretty big, it would be hard to fit in a backpack or something. I'm just going to use it around the house. I might drill some ventalation holes also under the intakes on the m9700 so it gets better air flow. Maybe add some lighted fans. Maybe a beer tap...

I saw that portable one at the gear shop, it looks pretty cool. If you get one let us know how it works out.

lol got me there holy, but I kind of meant it is designed for comfort.

Just depends, If you want portability the XBrand is way way better, but if you want something for the lap that is comfortable and also good for desk than iLap is good. I just like that it has cushions.
