Yup thx, I set windows not to restart automatically when it happened so I could examine the BSOD, it was being caused by a component in zonealarm, I cross checked that error report with all the other ones and they all had the same ID's which means Omegas had nothing to do with it and it was zonealarm the whole time.

Thanks for the info, that's good know. I'll probably never figure it out since I don't have any Symantec products in any of my computers.

Hmmm, then what would be a better choice in terms of the drivers? Omegas or still the Catalyst ones off the Intel website?

Either one, Omega seems to have better performance, if you don't encounter any problem with it then it should fine.

will the omegas cause damage with the defualt overclock?

It should be fine, Hyper has been using S96J longer than anybody else, I think he also using Omega drivers.

As far as desktop video cards, omega drivers void the warranty. I dont know if it applies to laptops necessarily however.

I think Omega overclocks slightly and also changes the setting from "quality" to performance, and thats what makes you get the extra few points in benchmarks, but its really not that significant anyways. Getting 200-300 more points in 3dmark05 only means you're getting 2-3 more fps in a game and if you're already crackin 60fps, you wont feel any difference if you would be getting 62 fps with omegas.

try photoshop and use "save for web" using JPG format, you won't lost much quality and it has very good compression.
