my 9300 and 62" DLP setup

I'm using my 9300 with my DLP until I complete my dedicated Media Center PC.... the picture is pretty nice on the 62" screen!






This is not the hard drive with Vista on it though... this is regular XP MCE.
Right now the tuner with Vista is a little choppy... not sure if it's my drivers or if the build of Vista just has too much going on to be steady, but it's not good enough to use day to day as a media center yet. I expect when it's released it will be fine though.

thanks! The tuner is the USB one from Dell... I think if I were to do it again, I would not get the dell and get a Hauppauge one for the laptop. The PC that I'm building has the Hauppauge 250 PCI in it.

I've been thinking about getting a DLP around 50 inches for my 9300. Are you using DVI output on your laptop? What resolution are you running at?

I've got a DVI <> HDMI cable going to the TV. It doesn't do the sound, but I've got the sound going into the Sony receiver.

the resolution is at 1920 x 1080.

I got that tv on sale for 2200 recently. It's a 2005 model DLP. The new ones are much more and I couldn't swing the extra $$$. I don't mind though, this tv is awesome!
