Question for Samsung WXGA owners

When windows is booting, I notice that it is lighter at the bottom of my screen. It is on the very bottom, not TO bright, but noticeable. Is this normal or do I have a defective screen? It does not seem to show up while windows is running.

Its probalby the same thing I had on my WUXGA, not very noticable unless the screen is black like during the startup or watching a DVD. I really wish I had 10 or 20 8600's lined up with the WUXGA and WXGA to see the difference and to find out if they all do this and if some are a lot worse than others. My first screen was almost acceptable but still annoying.

I suppose I should run a DVD to see if it does it on that as well. If it doesn't, then I think I can live with it. The LCD is pretty nice IMO... zero dead pixels.

Yes, let us know how it is. I am again in contact with dell tech to try and solve the light prob again.

In all seriousness, the screen looks great. Nice detail and zero dead pixels. So I hope this is not a big deal.
