Alienware m5500 for sale, maybe... price check.

may be selling my m5500. Here are my specs:

Alienware m5500 15.4" laptop
1680x1050 screen
radeon x1600 w/256mb ram
1 gig ram
dvd plaper/cd writer combo
802.11 b/g wireless
windows media center
soundblaster audigy (pcmci card)

PS. Not a scratch on it! Mint condition with all original packing and receipt.

How much do you think I should ask for?

Going to order the 9700. Just need some additional funds.

What kind of 3dMark05 scores does this thing get? Can you break 4000? (be honest now...)

Purchased from Alienware alittle under 2 months for $1,789 and yes, I score higher than 4k. I scored 4063 stock scores. Here is the URL.

oh... this is something I should look into lol. If only I wasn't so stuck on buying a NEW alienware... the m5500 is what I wanted from day 1!

^ Actually.. i might be REALLY interested in your lappy. Can you give more specific specs like exactly what AW would give so I can use it as a comparison? Pics would be nice also. Any reason why you are selling? Do you have re-spawn or anything like that. A price would be nice too

Not sure what AW would give. I'm thinkin about askin $1,300 since its not even 2 months old and not a scratch on it! Reason for sellin is I am lookin to get the 9700 as I will not be usin my desktop going forward. So lookin for alittle more realestate. Lol, you price things like my uncle (family business). Just because you paid a lot for it doesn't mean you can ask a lot for it.

Anyway, there was one of these laptops on here a month ago that someone beat me to, so when you do come up with a price, PM me quicklike please. I will throw out there that similarly configured S96J or HEL-80 laptops are going for around $1500-1600 off the 'net brand new, so if it were me, I'd price it below that.

I have two laptops on ebay right now, they end on sunday. After they're paid for, I'll be seriously shopping.
