Hey Guys,
I am not sure if this is possible or not...

I have an Inspiron 1150 running an Intel 82855 video chipset. Whenever I try set the resolution higher than 1024x768, it just expands the desktop so I have to scroll the mouse across the screen. It does not actually increase the resolution.

I thought this screen being it's size would surely be able to display higher than 1024x768. Is this not so? Is there a way I could force it to run a slightly higher resolution without desktop scrolling?
