I9100 copper plates for Heat MOD

I am trying to get a hold of the right copper plates for this and haven't been able to find a good place to buy them locally. Sooo is there any CHEAP and efficient source that I could buy these plates from?
the specifications that I have read from a mod guide are:
GPU copper plate:
2.75 cm (1.08 inch) x 2.75 cm x .165 cm (.07 inch)
VRAM copper plate: x 2
3.5 cm (1.38 in) x 1.5 cm (.59 in) x .9 cm (.35 in)

I am not sure how close the real plates have to be to those measurements but if anyone who has already purchased plates of their own can help me out with this, I'd really appreciate it! Its nothing I want to screw up of course .

Your GPU copper plate is going to be too thick. The plate I ordered was 0.0647" and I had to pound it down quite a bit in order for it to fit between the HS and GPU. I would go with 0.048" to 0.054" for the GPU.

I got my metal from Online Metals. ( http://www.onlinemetals.com/ )

The 0.0647" x 1" x 6" bar and the 0.032" x 6" x 12" sheet I ordered came to $25 including shipping.

Instead of just placing copper over the VRAM chips, I made an entirely new ramsink out of the 0.032 copper sheet. The topic is here.

If you stick with the thicker pads, you will have to remove the existing aluminum ones. You will only need 0.125" thick for the top two sets of chips. The bottom ones are a little more difficult since they are split up with taller resistors between them. I just made a bottom plate out of 0.032" sheet and connected it to the top ramsink. This was pretty hard since I had to navigate around the resistors, etc. The copper ramsink took several hours with a Dremel and some tools to bend the angles.
