I don't know if anyone was having any trouble with this but I was having sparatic connectivity problems with my internal boardcom gigabit ethernet adapter. I determined that it was this mahcine.
I went to ACER's website and I had their latest driver for the card from 2/13/2003.
So I went to broadcom's website and downloaded their latest driver, dated 5/16/2006, and no more connectivity problems.
Didn't know if anyone else was having this problem but thought I would share since it's not a real obvious solution.
