best dell laptop help

I had 700M for just over a year and yes I did abuse this laptop but it shouldn't be in this bad shape.. now it has heat problem and any extended time this laptop being on, it overheats and also keyboard gets all messed up. Pressing keys , laptop responds in funny way(example: pressing p will do some other function or clicking on icon will not launch the program, instead it will give you property).

Considering all this, I want to buy another laptop but this time I want it to last longer. I use laptop a lot and I want laptop that will provide stability.

Can someone recommend based on their experince some of the laptop that could be realiable? I am looking for 14 inch and up size wise and looking to have separate graphic card(other than onboard)....

I've talked to a few E1505 owners and they love them.... I use an M170, it totally kicks a$$, but it might be a little big for what you are looking for.

Wel, one time l I did heavy Photoshop work on my M170 for 13 hours straight (literally, I was on an emergency deadline), took an hour break and then went on to use if for another 8. No restarts, and not one hiccup or problem.

either get complete care or get a latitude which is quite a bit sturdier than the inspirons (unless u game then get the inspiron cause there are no good graphics cards for latitudes).

Get a M1710 with the complete care. With the raw power this laptop has you could use it for 48 hours without a problem as long as your not playing a game. If your playing a newer game then just make sure its on a desk or something hard and not a bed or your lap where it cant breath.

Is it going to be just for heavy usage in one spot, or something really mobile with heavy usage?
Mobile and heavy usage = Latitude line (D820 or D620).
Heavy usage not too mobile = Precision line (M90 or M65).

If price is an issue, than you are stuck with the Inspiron line (9400, E1705, or E1505).
