How to set up two monitors with native res on both screens

Hi guys

I have a APR with my i8600 and wanna connect an external TFT.
But I wanna run both at their native res meaning the WUXGA of the inspirion at 1920x1200 and the Iiyama 17" at 1280x1024.
Is that in any way possible cause I tried and wasn't able to do it. Maybe it did a setting wrong of some kind.

Would be great if someone with experience in that area can help me out here

Thanks

When your cloning a display how would you go about distributing an image that is shown in 16:10 wide screen aspect then shrinking it down to 4:3 it doesnt work out one screen would be odd so the larger screen reduces it self to accomodate the the smaller size. theres few exceptions very very few
