I would DEFINETELy get an extra power supply. Youw ould be amazed how easily these things break up, becasue the joinbetween the cable and the power brick deteriorates over time, mostly when you connect and disconect the brick for storage.
Hence, if you have one brick for your primary location,a dn the other stored away in your back pack.... it definetly prolongs the life of both power bricks.

Another sugenstion would be to get some bluetooth headsets or mice (but oyu allready got that).

Finally, if you want the alternative, wait a few weeks to see if dell comes up with the meron processor parts, to see if you can upgrade your lappy. A $250 discount on that would be sweet.

Hmm, I second the power brick. All depends on your waranty, but the cord wears, and you have to replace the thing. (I did it a month ago, last about 8 months)

i have an ipod so mp3 players aren't intersting to me and as far as a 20 oinch monitor, what are the beneifits of have anexternal monitor? specialy one that isn't much bigger, has a lower resolution, and isnt nearly as "pretty"


i guess there isn't really much to have..i was hoping someone would come on and say..dude you have to have on of theese, but most that have responded have suggested things i specifically stated that i already had

power brick is covered undr warranty so that is a waste of 70 bucks.

apparently there is nothing left..my last post on it

i would be willing to buy something an send it to your house if you would trade it for your nano..pm me if interested...also taking offers on a black m1710 with gs and an m170 fully loaded except 2.0 processor
