NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 Drivers

Enjoying my dv8000t, but wondering if anyone has been able to upgrade the graphics drivers. I recently installed an update to National Geographics TOPO! program and after working with the software engineer there determined that the current NVIDIA drivers contained faulty OpenGL drivers. NVIDIA has since done an update to their drivers and posted them to their website, but these drivers won't load on the hp notebooks with the GeForce GO cards. hp site still has the old drivers, and hp customer support doesn't have anything to help.

Has anyone been able to install NVIDIA drivers on their machine? Is there another place I should check at hp or somewhere else to get the drivers that will work with the GO cards? Thanks for your help!

You can get drivers from www.tweaksrus.com There is a mobile forceware section. www.laptopvideo2go.com also has drivers.

Thanks for the heads-up! I am downloading them now. Do you also have the dv8000t?

A little scary at first, when I got nothing but a black screen and white mouse cursor. I was able to complete the login to Windows by "feel" then shut the machine down with the power button. Started up again and the machine works fine. Still can't make the 3D option in Topo! work. National Geographic software engineers were blaming nVidia's defective OpenGL drivers, but now I am wondering. . .

Appreciate your help!

There's a newer version released already. Version 2.9792 I have a dv8320ca with GeForce GO 7600. I was wondering if all the versions listed will support the GO 7600. Or should I just stick to 9371 as posted earlier.
