mx7525 video drivers

Just got a mx7525 and tried to upgrade the catalyst drivers from 6.1 to 6.6. I unstalled the 6.1 and downloaded the 6.6 from ati's site and I get a video card not supported error. Anyone else run into similar problem.

Did you just try to update the drivers only, go back and use add & remove, update the drivers only NOT anything else, sometimes that will work , you have to sometimes update the ATI™ Radeon® Xpress 200M Chipset, legacy original drivers(http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/...w/5964nv.shtml) 1st, then the new ones, that may help, also F.Y.I. if your not using the Radeon Mobility drivers, you will get an error, check to make sure it's for a notebook , if you don't see "mobility" then you could be using the WRONG ones.................. dhmod v3 solved my problems, much easier than previous releases.
