Hi people I have a IBM X22 notebook and would like to replace its hard drive with a Seagate Momentus 5400.Can someone tell me if this is ok?

It may or may not be OK. I've recently had problems with using non-IBM supplied HDs with the T43s at my current location. The laptops would error out right after the BIOS screen, even though they were the same manufacturer and series.

If finances aren't too tight, i'd recommend you try it out.
