128 is dedicated to the nvidia, it can then borrow another 128 from system memory.

nVIDIA graphics card has 128 MB dedicated VRAM! Today only I installed Window Vista Ultimate Beta 2 on my machine. It's really awesome, Aero Glass effects n all... graphic is very smooth.

How long does it take to install

My notebook (VAIO SZ260P) has 1 GB RAM, 128 MB VRAM on nVIDIA graphics card. Well, it took somewhere between 45-50 minutes to install. Installation was quite smooth. Performance is quite good. I am using it for my daily choas. It doing pretty good. Aero glass effect is awesome. Window Key + Tab ... you can select any window from a 3-D stack, I really like this effect

The only problem is device driver for custom Function button is missing. Which i am trying to figure out... Screen brightness is at its full :-( so, its draining battery fast. I am not able to adjust screen brightness... I also felt it is a bit more hot than Windows XP... may be because of lack of power management drivers?

Though despite these things I wana stick to Vista than XP...

Regards,
-Vks
