Asus replaced motherboard...used NCST?

Rather than it saying Asus when it boots up now, it says ncst (www.ncst.com). Is it normal for them to not use asus boards? Should I expect anything different?

unless its a asus mb, flashed with a ncst bios (IE like dells laptops, they are made by a different company but there bios logo screen says its a dell)

In the notes, it did say they replaced the mobo. Any way to tell what mobo it is? Would going into bios tell me?

wouldnt hurt, whats the model of the notebook and where did you purchase it from. And who did the support work, asus directly?

It's a z70v and I bought it as a barebones. Bought the unit from eWIZ and they sent it into Asus directly as far as I know. It's within the 1 year, so Asus is the one who warranties it.

other then the bios comin up they way it does, does the notebook work ok. If it does i wouldnt worry about it.

works fine.

We play medal of honor at work on the network, and I do noticed that it seems to disconnect and twitch quite often. Didnt used to do it. I havent checked the wireless card connections yet, however.

Other than that, seems to work just fine.

tryin updating your wifi drivers & software @ www.intel.com

the card is the same from your orginal mb (the card isnt built on the board, it sits in a slot much like ram)
