5760 built in audio question

I'm headed to a LAN party today and am "debuting" my 5760 to my friends. I will probably be switching between a pair of headphones and the built in speakers. Before it was always head phones as a general rule for PC's plus it would a mess to bring (5.1 here at home). My question is about configuring the speakers in windows or the realtek audio manager. This is going to sound dumb but how many actual speakers does this unit have? I see what appear to be 2 on either side of the keyboard surface however in the manual where it is pointing out speakers it only labels the two on the side edges and the "sub woofer" on the bottum. Also in the realtek audio manager when playing with the configurations I only get sound from the side/edge speakers. Nothing from what appear to speakers on the keyboard surface or the "subwoofer" on the bottum.

Any quick help will be appreciated.

I'm seeing in Luke's review he states 2 built in speakers...seems kinda odd though maybe what I'm looking at on the keyboard surface are vents?

Well the system performed awesomely for Saturday's LAN Assuming the sound is just 2 built in it was pretty decent when I was using enclosed headphones which sound was great through also.

*I got some flack from my buddies when raven shield wouldn't run right on my system. It was long before google had my answer...I had "dumb down" to play it. RS will only right right if set to run on ONE core.

I didn't experience any sounds that should not have been there
