You are almost there!

Why not already finance the rest of the $500? At the rate you are going, you can pay it off in less than 6 months to avoid the finance charges.

NICE!!! You must be saving like a maniac! I'll probably work all day today to try and save up a little more.
Also, you can only get green or blue when you order the 15.4.

Good Luck Saving

I've almost got enough... but the only thing I'm actually paying for is the extras like the warranty, headphones, alienadrenaline and everything I want besides the core system. That's going to be my parent's Graduation present to me

Wow! Nice parents ya got there. I won't have enough cash to get any of the extra's besides the core system. I'll prbably get the system and then when i get the extra cash i will order the alienware backpack and such. Maybe i can get santa to come early and i'll ask for cash!

I am pitiful

Man sometimes I feel so bad . I am only 14 years old and have no freakin clue how to get money by working. I have almost $800 dollars saved for an alienware comp but I need more money....a lot more for the one I want. I want the area51m extreme in conspiracy blue. I just wish there was a way for me to make money lol. But I envy you guys with a job and able to pay for your own things. BE HAPPY YOU HAVE MONEY. thats all I want to say.

I would in no way say you're pitiful. $800 is a lot of money to save for being 14. It sounds very responsible from my viewpoint, keep it up, you will appreciate it alot more when it finally happens.

thats tough, but you cand efiently find work at 14....

go to one of those small local corner stores and see fi they need help...find places that pay in cash...find a relative that can use some helpo around the house...get a paper route.

just go places and ask the owner if you can do anything to help them...

im sure you will find someone willing to help you out and give you work.

good luck

I agree I started my first job when I was 14 and I used the money to buy my first fully paid for by me computer! It was a gateway wich at teh time 8 years ago was the best company to go with. My first job was walking Dogs at a local animal shelter! It did not pay great but since I love Animals it was more like going to play with my 30dogs than real work! I highly recomend doing something like that if you can get it. The only bad thing is you have to clean up thier messes if they leave you presents in the kennels usually a quick spray down with the hose and some disinfectant took care of it so its not as bad as most would think I loved it did it for 5 years all the way through college!

might i also suggest tutoring/babysitting?

i know a kid who pulls 50 bucks a shot tutoring... tutoring in rich neighborhoods could be quite prifitable.
