There's really a variety of things to put on the feet of your mouse.

A few people I've known have bought from xpcgear.com (Click here to check Reseller Rating) they carry Xtrac Eels

Crazy PC (Click here to check Reseller Rating) carries a variety of different products including Mouse Wax. It was reviewed on a few sites including Overclocked Cafe not to long ago. For more information take a peak here: http://www.mousewax.net/

gamerzStuff (Click here to check Reseller Rating) carries Mouse Skatez

SVC (Click here to check Reseller Rating) also carries a variety of products, including several different types of gaming mouse pads, and also the Xtrac Eels also for only $1.95.

Performance-PCs (Click here to check Reseller Rating) also carries Xtrac Eels and has links to review. They also carry it for only $1.95.

Some Reviews:

Here's one review of Mouse Wax

Here's one review of Xtrac Eels

Here's one review of Mouse Skatez

Mouse Wax might be the best value for the amount of product you receive. But looks like at least $3-5 for any of them. Note, I went ahead and pulled the Reseller Ratings for the companies I've listed and provided the links, check out any business before purchasing from them, and I only provided Resellers with high ratings to select from.

It'll lag for a second or two after sitting idle for like 5 or 10 minutes....

Never had a problem when sniping in Battlefield. I guess its just depends on who is using it.

I just picked up the MX510 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...CONTENTID=8070) on friday and so far it's seems really good.

I also picked up the MX510, but I haven't opened it yet waiting for my Dell XPS, so it may be a while. But the early reveiws say it's the ultimate mouse for gaming. Good luck.

Mouses on that site seem a bit over-priced.

Why not give this a shot: http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/pad-20.html

Logitech Trackballs are pretty good, I've only used Trackman Wheel. Which I guess is a real nice one, you know if you like Trackballs.

fiction I use a logitech optical mouse, just the cheap wired one and it works sweet, was like 20 bucks

I also have a mouse with a fan inside of it (bought it at bestbuy) that was 20 and it works nice, no more sweaty palms

Nah, thanks for that though. Not really into the bells and whistles, just want something that works well.

The trackball it is, I reckon.

MX900 is awesome I use both the Dual Optical Logitech and the MX900 and the difference is really apples to oranges ones heavier with lower dpi but wireless the other is lighter higher dpi (dual) and has clunky wires

For optical mouse junkies (like myself) GeekExtreme looks at the MX510 and compares it to the Viper:

reults, pretty much a draw.

Just got a MX510 at Best Buy to replace my Intellimouse (non-explorer). I like the build quality, but I kinda liked the placement of the intellimouses two side buttons alittle more. I find I have to concentrate more on which button I'm trying to press. Probably due to the fact I've had the intellimouse for years and thats what I'm used to. But the build quality and the responsivness of the 510 was great...just wish I could have gotten the blue one at the Best Buy I went to...they only had the red one. Oh well.

I have a Logitech Mx 700, which is the same layout as the 510, and I love it. I also went from a Microsoft’s mouse, but I prefer this layout a lot better. Once you get used to the side buttons, they become so easy to use that you do it with out thinking. But they are totally out of the way, so no accidentally pressing them. Great mouse for gaming.

for gaming get a logitech mx500/510 or an intellimouse explorer 3.0. then for mouse pads u can get a steelpad, a func pad, or any other mousepad specificly made for high quality mice and gaming. i know a lot of pro gamers use the mx510 and the steelpad

MX 510, anyone who didn't suggest this mouse at first should be shot.
