Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2250

I was wondering how big a difference is there between the
Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2250 1.73GHz/533MHz FSB
and the
Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2400 1.83GHz/667MHz FSB

Is it worth $49 to upgrade to the 1.8

I plan to upgrade to merom later (when its cheaper) because i know you can drop it in... unless i read incorrectly. Does this mean i have to get the 667mhz one?

Also i read about a possibility to mod the T2250 but no info about it.

I would just avoid any future heartbreak and drop the extra $49 IMO...

at least that way you can match your ram and bus speed so upgrading to merom will be nicer.
