I have ordered an Alienware, and now I am seriously thinking about going the Aviator ex7 route. I currently ordeded the Area51-m7700 which is pretty comparable. I get double Ram, and double Video ram with hypersonic though, at about the same price.

Any thoughts or opinions on which anyone prefers? Please anything you know that's better with one company over the other, please share. Is it worth canceling and going with hypersonic? I don't know what to do!!

I didn't want to go with what everyone had...I dunno! I was looking at Hypersonic, Falcon NW(HA $$!$@) and VoodooPC(ouuuuuuch!)...but it came down to Hypersonic cuz those other too were insanely expensive...then I compared Hypersonic to Alienware and that made me go 'yup!! Hypersonic it is!!' Hypersonic was a name that popped up a lot too when I'd read around for notebook gaming computers performance and stuff...so roar!

Thanks for the feedback, Much appreciated. I figured this would be the case, the price is about the same anyway. I'm getting more for the money I suppose. I'm gonna go with a Blue Hyper, after I cancel my Alienware.

You might wanna wait for more opinions...cuz this was my first laptop that I've owned sooo I don't have any REAL comparasion as far as performance and stuff...but bleh!! I've always built my own desktops but then I had to get a laptop cuz I'm in the Navy and on a ship and ...ya a desktop doesn't do me too good!

Wait? You know how waiting is. I don't wanna wait at all haha. I just want it already. I gotta wait until tomorrow to cancel the Alienware, and get my order put through with Hyper. I may go with thier prebuilt, since it's got most of what I want, and can ship in a few days.

That's not good to hear. How long you have it before an issue arrived?

feedback is feedback, whether it be bad or good. Its exactly what you're asking for..is it not?

I'm sure other people will give theirs...they're just being lazy and not checking the forums!

How they send? What you mean? You mean with the return labels for shipping like Hyper? I'm not quite sure what you mean. Can you rephrase it?

I'm lost too!

Aleinware .....Dell and all the rest of the computer makers send out machines with problems.....whats important is how each copany will adress the problems that arise...I was a long time customer of Del....my last Dell changed that...their tech support and customer support aint worth a plug nickle.......thats why I chose Hypersonic for my laptop.......you want to see what other customers say about their purchase or experience with builders ...go here......then decide

you can check out each builder..every post has to come from an acual customer...you have to put your order numer in to be able to post a comment about a builder...

Thanks, I actually was on that site the last 2 days. I have noticed thouogh, that alienware, and Hyper have almost the same rating. With the Hyper having the edge in Long-term rating. Both had similar complaints with Customer service.e

I ordered my sig on June 17th. It would have been in my hands in about 2 weeks had I not received an email from them saying the new 512mb 7900's were coming in and did I want to wait. So of course I did, and they came in on Thursday so I'll have it shipped by Tuesday after they finish doing the burn in testing and whatnot. So far I have been very happy with my decision (I can get a competent person on the phone in seconds), hopefully I'll be saying same after I beat on it for a few months doing video editing and gaming .

Two weeks-ish is not long to wait at all in the world of custom built lappies.

sorry I was having problems when I tried posting the above.....also aleinware ..hypersonic.......voodoo.....falcon northwest and some others sell clevo branded machines....so what I would take into consideration is what kind of tech and customer support you get plus the expense...my EX7 costed me $3,876 bucks...the same exact machine except for the aliemware added molded cover would have been over 5 grand from alienware..and since Dell now owns alienware that left them out of my decision...I wont buy anything from Dell or a Dell owned company anymore...never again.....

On a scale of 1-10 I give hypersonics after hours tech support a 9...I give their business hours tech support a 7...I give customer suppport a 7 also...I give both Dells customer and tech support a 4..the only reason its not lower is because they did send out parts fast and overnighted them at no cost to me......if I take that out of the equation I would have given them a 1........
