Hi all..
Anybody experienced this?
I have an TM8204 and the Acer EZDock. I have a second CRT connected to the VGA out of the dock and use it to extend the desktop of my laptop. I love having the extra real estate in using both displays, to have multiple folders and apps open.
Here is the issue. Before i undock, i make sure that i move all the folders and applications back onto the laptop display and maybe close some. I then go and disable the second display first before i undock, then undock.
I go away with the laptop and when i open one of the apps again, it does launch but doesn't display, it still thinks there is a second monitor connected and actually displays, well... out in the ether as it were. When i go and dock again, there it is sitting on the other monitor.
The question, is there a way to prevent this, or to correct it and have the application launch in the correct display when undocked? Shutting the application down and relaunching doesn't help, and neither does rebooting and launching the app again.
Whaddaya think..
