Fastest I have ever seen Dell ship a notebook!

I placed the order Friday afternoon at 4:00pm CST.... it shows as shipping today!

I got a 1505 with 2.0 Core Duo, 256 meg ATI, 120 gig drive... I guess I got lucky and all my parts were ready to go. It went from pre-production to boxing Friday evening. I'm hoping it will arrive Tuesday. I live close to the Dallas/Fort Worth UPS hub, so Dell is usually off a little on the estimated arrival, I almost always get it a day or two before they expect it.

i bought 2 laptops on friday (m1210 and d620) and they both went into boxing the same day. i know that's not shipped, but it is still pretty good.

I got my D620 few weeks ago.

I order on Mon. PreOrder, Testing, etc and on Wed it say it is shipped.

I check the tracking on UPS and Fri I got my laptop. But the shipping say no other city other than ATL. I wonder if Dell has a mini storage here.

Looks like it's here! this is my 4th notebook from Dell and this was the fastest. I've had one take 3 weeks before. My wife's 1405 last month only took 10 days. This one was 4 days from order to doorstep!!!
