upgrading a laptop cpu

i was wondering if its possible to upgrade a laptops cpu. i want to buy a small 12-13 in laptop but most use a lower version of turion 64 (i.e 1.6 ghz vs 2.2 ghz) the one i was looking at was an averatec 2100 series (link below). is it possible to upgrade the cpu to a turion MT40 @2.2 ghz? does anyone also know whether averatec lappys can hold 2 gigs of ram? that would be another option.

mentioned that 2gb works

MT40 - wow, it would be big jump from their top MT-30, i suspect a bios update should do the trick, but heat dissipation and power needed could be an issue
