when i first installed windows on my e1505, the system would go in standby mode if i didn't touch it for 10 minutes or so. then it would turn off the hdd and other hardware.. so in 1 hour my laptop would cool down.
but if i am not mistaking, once it turns off everything, the procces stop working. for example my downloads, and recieving messages in icq.
so i was wondering if there's a way to configurate, so it would turn off uneccesery hardware etc, for my laptop to cool off, but still be able to leave all the proccess on.
because i plan to run my laptop 24/7, don't want it to overheat..
so what should i do to avoid overheating?
