I've never had _any_ problems with newegg. They have always had fantastic customer service and fast shipping... though I preferred it when they had fedex express rather than UPS as their 3 day.
The first major purchase I made from them, was to build my sister a computer over Christmas time a few years ago. I was going to be there for a week... got down there and the case that I'd had shipped directly there was cracked. I called them and they shipped me a new one out... and it got there in time, so I could build it while I was there. They just asked me to get them the tracking number of the one I was shipping back, and no, they did not charge me for the new one until they received the return, and no they did not charge me for shipping to send the old one back.
I've seen in some reviews, that now that they've started doing rebates (they never did those in the past that I noticed, direct), that some people are having trouble getting their rebates. That surprises me, really, but I suspect they have a third party company doing that for them. I never rely on rebates, personally.
Anyway, since I started shopping with them I've build 5 PC systems from the parts I've purchased, and never had to do an RMA for failure of a part. (Not that they can control that, but they certainly don't send anything out that they know is defective!)
